Trainee - System Admin

Job Title: System Administrator (Fresher - Full-time)
Location: Kochi

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Fresher to join our IT team as a System Administrator. As a part of our team, you will be trained and mentored to handle the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows servers. You will learn to maintain the Windows server infrastructure and help resolve technical issues, ensuring that the systems run smoothly and securely.

Key Responsibilities:
Server Setup & Configuration:
Assist in installing and configuring Windows servers. Learn to align server setups with best practices.

Troubleshooting & Support:
Help diagnose and troubleshoot server issues related to performance, connectivity, and software problems.

System Maintenance:
Perform regular maintenance tasks such as applying updates, backups, and basic optimization of servers.

Networking Basics:
Assist in configuring and managing networking protocols like DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory.

Monitoring & Optimization:
Learn to monitor system health and performance, and help identify potential issues.

Documentation:
Help maintain records of server configurations, problems, resolutions, and improvements.

Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other IT team members on various technical tasks and projects.

Security Awareness:
Support security practices and help ensure systems are secure and up-to-date.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Fresher Role: Open to recent graduates or individuals with basic knowledge of system administration.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Windows Server operating systems (2016, 2019, or 2022) is a plus but not mandatory.
Problem-Solving Mindset: A keen interest in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
Networking Understanding: Basic knowledge of networking protocols like DHCP, DNS, and Active Directory is beneficial.
Willingness to Learn: A strong desire to grow and learn about system administration practices.
Communication Skills: Ability to document and communicate technical information clearly.
