QA Tester/Software Tester-3-4 years

Roles & Responsibilities

*Analyze requirements and design, build and execute test cases to assure the quality of the application under test.
*Communicate all key product plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, schedule, and scope changesCollaborate with developers to deploy and test custom solutions.
*Manage and lead the entire QA team, including hiring, training, and developing team members.
*Define and implement effective quality assurance processes and strategies, ensuring that they align with business goals and objectives.
*Develop and maintain QA metrics to track and report on the effectiveness of quality assurance efforts.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, identify risks, and establish testing plans.
*Create and maintain testing processes, procedures, and documentation.
*Stay ahead of best-in-class testing methodologies and tools
*Develop and maintain a strong understanding of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and new testing methodologies
*Plan the release cycles across a portfolio
*Measure and monitor progress to ensure application releases are delivered on time
*Outline and document standardized testing processes and reporting procedures
*Provide technical leadership for SQA team engineers.
*Contribute to the design and implementation of software verification & validation procedures and test plans based on SW / Systems Requirements

Desirable Skills

*3+ years’ experience required.
*Proven experience in software quality assurance, with expertise in Manual testing.
*Assist with selection & utilization of tools & methodologies to ensure that software tests identify defects & comply with company and industry quality standards.
*Must have experience in developing complex test plan and managed execution of that test plan
*The exposure required in API Testing, load testing, automated testing, performance testing and security testing
*Knowledge of & experience with industry standard SQA tools, methodologies & processes.
*Hands-on experience in testing Web Applications frontend, and backend mobile applications.
*Experience with defect tracking/management tools
*Experience with one or more automation tools will given an added preference
*Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting.
*Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
