MVC developer

We are looking for an ASP.NET MVC Developer to join our development team. The selected candidate will work on web-based SaaS solutions for the afterschool programs, ensuring compatibility across all modern browsers and devices (desktops, tablets, and mobile phones). This role is ideal for candidates who are eager to learn, grow, and develop their skills in web application development.

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the development and maintenance of ASP.NET MVC applications using C#/VB.Net.
• Work on front-end development using Bootstrap and jQuery for responsive designs.
• Support database development using MS SQL.
• Collaborate with senior developers to implement RESTful API strategies.
• Debug, test, and document software applications.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best coding practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications
• 4-7 years of experience in ASP.NET MVC development.
• Knowledge of C#/VB.Net, ASP.NET MVC, and web form applications.
• Familiarity with Bootstrap and jQuery for front-end development.
• Understanding of MS SQL and basic SQL queries.
• Knowledge of RESTful API concepts.
• Good problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have) Skills
• Exposure to Vue.js or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Experience with version control systems like TortoiseSVN.
• Basic understanding of cloud-based deployment.

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient databases using Microsoft SQL Server (2017/2019).
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot stored procedures, triggers, and functions.
• Enhance and refactor in-application SQL statements for improved performance.

• Implement data integrity and security measures.
• Develop testable, reusable, and scalable database components.
• Stay updated with new SQL features, tools, and best practices.
• Create and maintain SSRS reports (preferred).

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2017/2019.
• Strong proficiency in MS SQL and T-SQL.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS).
• Exposure to SSRS (preferred).

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
