GenAI Engineer (4-5 yrs)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Generative AI Engineer with strong hands-on experience in building and deploying AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Generative AI concepts, Large Language Models (LLMs), and the ability to translate them into scalable, production-ready applications.

Roles and Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI solutions using modern frameworks and tools
Work with Large Language Models (LLMs) for use cases such as text generation, summarization, and question answering
Implement prompt engineering techniques and optimize model performance
Build and integrate APIs for AI-powered applications
Develop Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and manage data workflows
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver AI solutions
Monitor, evaluate, and improve model outputs and system performance
Stay updated with the latest advancements in Generative AI technologies

Requirements
4–5 years of experience in software development with strong focus on Python
Hands-on experience with Generative AI tools and frameworks such as OpenAI APIs, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar
Strong understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector databases
Experience in building and deploying AI/ML applications
Ability to write clean, efficient, and scalable code
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures
Familiarity with vector databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, or similar
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Understanding of machine learning fundamentals and model evaluation

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable, high-performance web applications from concept to deployment.
Build and maintain APIs, web services, and RESTful endpoints to enable seamless data exchange between front-end and back-end systems.
Collaborate cross-functionally and actively participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to established coding standards and best practices.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality across the team.
Take ownership of applications by troubleshooting, debugging, and ensuring performance and scalability from development through production.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot API development.
Strong experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
Experience in building mobile-first UI applications, including Progressive Web Apps (PWA) and responsive web applications aligned with WCAG 2.x accessibility standards.
Proficiency in Git and version control workflows.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Design, Design Patterns, and RESTful/Service-Oriented Architecture.
Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
