Senior US Accountant

Working Hours: 8:30 PM – 5:30 AM (Night Shift)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee and manage the accounting operations of our firm. This role carries dual responsibilities: managing the company’s internal accounting and handling client payment collections. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in U.S. accounting practices, with proficiency in QuickBooks being a significant advantage. Experience in payroll journal entries, reconciliations, and accurate posting to Profit & Loss statements is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end accounting operations of the company.
Lead and supervise the accounting team, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely completion of tasks.
Collect client payments and maintain accurate financial records.
Oversee journal entries, bank reconciliations, general ledger reviews, and financial reporting.
Ensure payroll journal entries are accurately recorded and reflected in Profit & Loss statements.
Support year-end closing activities, reconciliations, and audits.
Identify opportunities to enhance internal systems, processes, and accounting workflows.
Qualifications & Skills
Minimum 4 years of professional accounting experience.
Solid knowledge of Indian payroll processes and tax implications.
Experience in year-end entries and reconciliations.
Strong background in U.S. accounting; QuickBooks (Online/Desktop) expertise preferred.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to supervise and guide a team effectively.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to manage high client volumes and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CA or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
