QA Engineer

Role Overview
• Responsible for ensuring product quality through manual and automated testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers, UX/UI, and product owners to validate requirements and deliver defect free releases.
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and support continuous improvement in QA processes.
Key Responsibilities
• Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well structured test plans and test cases.
• Execute manual test cases and report defects with clear documentation.
• Perform regression testing during release cycles.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.
• Participate in sprint planning, refinement, and daily standups to provide QA input.
• Ensure adherence to Definition of Done by validating acceptance criteria.
Required Skills & Experience
• 3–4 years of experience in software testing (manual QA).
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Hands on experience with defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Boards).
• Ability to design and execute test cases independently.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
Good to Have (Preferred Skills)
• Experience in automation testing (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation integration.
• Exposure to healthcare IT or ABDM related systems (advantageous).
