Lead Backend Developer ( Java)

Job Title: Lead Backend Developer

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Backend Developer to join our development team at Infopark, Kochi. In this role, you will demonstrate strong leadership qualities, guiding the backend team, driving technical decisions, and ensuring smooth project execution. You will design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs for our healthcare applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. You will also mentor junior developers and take ownership of backend architecture and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop high-performance backend systems using Java (preferably Java 8+).
Build scalable APIs and services that integrate with frontend and third-party systems.
Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
Follow Agile methodologies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Document technical specifications, workflows, and development processes.
Lead technical discussions, provide guidance to team members, and mentor junior developers.
Take ownership of backend design, architecture decisions, and delivery timelines.

Required Skills:

M.Tech or B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
Strong proficiency in Spring Framework (Spring Boot).
Experience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
Solid understanding of Hibernate, SQL, and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Good understanding of performance tuning, memory management, and multithreading.
Knowledge of secure coding practices and error-handling mechanisms.
Proven leadership qualities including team mentorship, decision-making, and ownership of technical deliverables.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in healthcare, insurance, or SaaS-based domains.
Familiarity with FHIR standards, ABDM, or NHCX (strong advantage).
Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).

Job Summary
Tecforz Innovations Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) with proven experience in enterprise SaaS sales, preferably within healthcare, insurance, or digital health platforms.
The role focuses on driving revenue growth, onboarding hospitals and insurers, and closing strategic SaaS engagements around EMR, insurance automation, NHCX-compliant claim exchange, and contract intelligence solutions.
The ideal candidate will own the complete sales lifecycle and act as a trusted advisor to hospital management, insurers, and enterprise stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities – Business Development & Sales

Identify, qualify, and close enterprise opportunities for Tecforz’s SaaS healthcare & insurance platforms

Own the complete sales cycle: lead generation, discovery, demos, proposals, negotiations, and closure

Build strong relationships with hospitals, diagnostic centres, insurers, TPAs, and enterprise healthcare partners

Coordinate with the Sr. VP to deliver value-driven product demos to CXOs and operations teams

Understand client pain points such as claim delays, revenue leakage, manual processes, and compliance gaps

Position solutions as business outcomes, not just software

Internal Collaboration & Pre-Sales

Work closely with product, tech, and implementation teams for accurate solutioning

Support RFP/RFI responses, pricing strategies, and pilot proposals

Share market and client feedback for product enhancement

Sales Operations & Targets

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets

Maintain CRM-based pipeline, forecasts, and sales reporting

Track market trends, competitors, and healthcare regulations (ABDM, NHCX, IRDAI)

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
(MBA preferred)

5–10 years of B2B / enterprise SaaS sales experience

Proven success in closing mid-to-large enterprise deals

Strong understanding of SaaS models, subscription pricing, and consultative sales

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Experience with CRM tools (Zoho, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)

Preferred

Experience in healthcare IT, insurance automation, EMR, or RCM solutions

Exposure to ABDM, NHCX, payer–provider workflows

Knowledge of APIs, cloud platforms, and interoperability standards (FHIR/HL7)
