Job description:

We are hiring a WordPress & Digital Marketing Specialist with strong hands-on WordPress experience for our Infopark, Kochi office.

Minimum Requirement:
Applicants must have 2–3 years of hands-on experience publishing content inside WordPress admin panel for live websites.

Training projects or course assignments will not be considered as experience.

Please do NOT apply if:

You have only worked on training or learning projects
You have not personally used the WordPress admin panel
You are looking for remote or hybrid work
You are primarily interested in strategy rather than execution
This is a full-time, on-site, standalone execution role. The Digital Marketing Executive will independently manage WordPress website content, SEO execution, social media publishing, basic paid social campaigns, and performance tracking for US and international audiences.

This is not a coordination-only, agency-management, or performance-marketing-only role.
Independent WordPress execution is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities
WordPress Website Management (MANDATORY)
Publish and update articles, blogs, and website content directly in WordPress
Manage pages, images, internal links, and basic layouts independently
Implement on-page SEO within WordPress (meta titles, descriptions, headings, internal linking)
Coordinate with developers only when required for basic HTML/CSS fixes
Ensure website content is optimised for US and international audiences
Content Publishing & Social Media

Post articles, blogs, and updates on LinkedIn and other business social media platforms
Manage company pages on LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook
Create, schedule, and publish posts independently
Maintain a monthly content calendar
Create and send newsletters
Ensure messaging aligns with US B2B tone and expectations

Paid Social Media Campaigns
Run basic to moderate paid social media campaigns on LinkedIn and Meta
Handle campaign setup, audience targeting, creatives, and basic optimisation
Monitor campaign performance and make incremental improvements
SEO, Analytics & Performance Tracking

Execute on-page SEO for website and blog content
Track website performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console
Monitor content and campaign performance using LinkedIn and Meta insights
Identify which articles, posts, or campaigns performed well or underperformed
Reporting & Insights

Share data-based insights with management on:
Content performance (blogs, articles, social posts)
Organic and paid campaign effectiveness
Provide clear summaries on what worked, what didn’t, and why
Content & Creative Support

Create basic marketing creatives (social posts, banners, newsletter visuals) using Canva
(Canva experience is desirable but not mandatory)

Required Skills & Experience

2+ years of hands-on Digital Marketing / Web Marketing experience
Strong, independent WordPress experience (mandatory)
Practical on-page SEO execution experience
Experience managing business social media pages
Exposure to basic paid social media advertising (LinkedIn / Meta)
Comfortable working independently in a standalone role
Good written and spoken English communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, or related field

Preferred Skills
Experience working with US or international clients
Exposure to B2B, IT services, or SaaS marketing
Trade show or event marketing experience
Experience preparing analytics-based reports for management

Job Details

Freelance Magento Developer – Magento Upgrade & Payment Gateway Integration

Project Overview

We are seeking an experienced Magento Developer / Magento Consultant (Freelance) to support a short-term project involving the upgrade of an existing Magento Open Source e-commerce website and integration of a payment gateway.

The current application runs on Magento Open Source 2.4.0 with PHP 7.4, and the objective is to upgrade the platform to the latest Magento version (2.4.8) and ensure compatibility with PHP 8.2, while maintaining the stability of existing features.

The consultant will also assist in integrating the ICICI Bank Payment Gateway module into the Magento checkout environment.

This is a limited-duration project engagement and not a full-time or long-term role.

Key Responsibilities

Upgrade the existing Magento 2.4 installation to the latest Magento version (2.4.8).
Perform PHP upgrade from PHP 7.4 to PHP 8.2 and ensure compatibility with Magento.
Review and ensure compatibility of existing Magento modules, extensions, and themes during the upgrade process.
Install, configure, and integrate the ICICI Bank Payment Gateway module within Magento.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Magento core, extensions, or server environment during migration.
Ensure the upgraded platform maintains existing functionality, performance, and security.
Support testing, validation, and deployment of the upgraded platform.
Provide basic documentation or guidance for deployment and configuration if required.

Required Skills

4+ years of hands-on experience in Magento 2 development
Strong experience with Magento upgrades and version migrations
Good knowledge of Magento architecture, modules, and extension management
Strong skills in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS

Experience with payment gateway integration in Magento
Familiarity with Git version control
Experience working on Linux-based cloud environments (AWS / Lightsail / similar)

Preferred / Additional Skills
Experience integrating ICICI Bank Payment Gateway
Experience optimizing Magento performance and security
Experience deploying Magento in AWS or cloud hosting environments

Deliverables
Magento successfully upgraded to the latest stable version
Platform fully compatible with PHP 8.2
Existing features and extensions functioning correctly post-upgrade
