Embedded hardware Engineer
Key Responsibilities
Microcontroller Design & Bring-Up
• Select and integrate MCUs/SoCs (Cortex-M/A, ESP32, STM32, NXP i.MX, Raspberry Pi).
• Define pin-muxing, boot modes, and power sequencing.
• Lead board bring-up and initial firmware flashing (UART/JTAG/SWD).
Circuit Design
• Convert product requirements into analog/digital/mixed-signal schematics.
• Select components considering power, SI, thermal, cost, and lifecycle.
PCB Layout
• Execute 2–8-layer PCB layouts with controlled impedance.
• Apply DFM/DFA/DFT and IPC standards.
Prototyping & Validation
• Prepare fabrication/assembly packages and BOMs.
• Coordinate prototype builds (in-house/EMS).
• Conduct functional, SI, thermal, and environmental testing.
Compliance & Certification
• Implement EMI/EMC mitigation.
• Support CE/FCC/IEC/UL and relevant RF certifications.
Documentation & Release
• Maintain all design artifacts in PLM.
• Prepare design reviews, test reports, and release documents.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams for quick issue resolution.
