We JTSi Technologies India Pvt Ltd, a US based MNC IT Co at Kochi Infopark are urgently looking for a Senior SAP Basis Administrator for our operations in Kochi. The incumbent is responsible for the installation, configuration, monitoring, and optimization of SAP system landscapes across on-premises and cloud environments. This role serves as the technical escalation point for Basis-related incidents and works closely with functional teams, security, and infrastructure to ensure system availability, performance, and compliance.

Details are as follows:

Designation : Senior SAP Basis Administrator
Qualification : Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Skillsets : Expertise in SAP HANA administration (HSR, backup, performance tuning), SAP S/4HANA installations, migrations, system conversions, SAP transport management.
Experience : Minimum 8 – 12 Years
Remuneration : Salary ranges are negotiable and will be the best in the industry.
Shift Time : 6:00 PM to 03:00 AM IST
Place of Posting : Remote/ Infopark, Kochi.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITES

• Administer and maintain SAP system landscapes including S/4HANA, ECC, BW/4HANA, Solution Manager, and SAP HANA
• databases across development, quality, and production environments.
• Perform system installations, upgrades, kernel patches, support pack stacks (SPS), and SAP Note implementations with minimal
• downtime.
• Monitor system health, performance, and capacity using SAP Solution Manager, SAP Cloud ALM, and third-party monitoring tools; proactively resolve bottlenecks.
• Manage SAP HANA database administration including backup/recovery, memory management, delta merges, and system replication (HSR).
• Configure and maintain SAP transport management system (STMS), RFC connections, and background job scheduling.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis for Basis-related production issues; serve as Tier 3 escalation point.
• Implement and manage SAP security configurations including user administration, role assignments, SSO, and audit log reviews.
• Plan and execute system refreshes, client copies, and landscape migrations including cloud migrations to SAP BTP, AWS, or Azure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project implementations, go-lives, and hypercare activities.
• Develop and maintain runbooks, SOPs, and technical documentation for operational procedures.

Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis across complex multi-system landscapes
• Strong expertise in SAP HANA administration (HSR, backups, performance tuning)
• Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA installations, migrations, and system conversions
• Solid knowledge of transport management, kernel updates, and support pack application
• Experience managing SAP environments on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, SAP BTP)
• Good understanding of OS-level administration (Linux/RHEL, Windows Server)
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
• SAP Certified Technology Associate – System Administration (SAP HANA) or equivalent
• Experience with SAP Cloud ALM, SAP Landscape Management (LaMa), or SAP BTP
• Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, SAP-native scripting)
• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and structured management processes
• Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code for SAP environments.
