Technical Lead / Solution Architect – AWS, Web & Mobile Applications

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead / Solution Architect with strong software development, cloud infrastructure, and team leadership experience to lead the design and delivery of web and mobile application projects.

This role requires hands-on technical leadership combined with system architecture, AWS cloud infrastructure management, and Agile project delivery.

The candidate will also work closely with clients in the USA and Canada, participate in technical discussions, online meetings, client onboarding sessions, and solution design conversations.

A key expectation of this role is the ability to mentor internal engineering teams, share technical knowledge, and elevate the overall capability of the development team.

Key Responsibilities---Technical Leadership

Provide technical leadership and guidance to the internal engineering team
Design and review application architecture, system design, and development standards
Ensure code quality, scalability, security, and performance
Conduct code reviews and mentor developers
Guide the team in best practices across development technologies
Architecture & Cloud Infrastructure

Design scalable system architecture for web and mobile platforms
Architect and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS
Lead API integrations including third-party APIs and Amazon SP-API
Define database architecture, data modeling, and performance optimization
Work with DevOps teams to implement deployment strategies and CI/CD pipelines
Ensure application scalability, availability, and security
Client Interaction (USA & Canada)

Participate in online meetings with clients from the USA and Canada
Lead technical discussions, architecture walkthroughs, and onboarding sessions
Translate client requirements into technical solutions
Provide regular project updates and technical progress reports
Ensure alignment between client expectations and engineering delivery
Team Leadership & Knowledge Development

Lead and mentor a cross-functional development team
Provide guidance on architecture, coding practices, and development processes
Share technical knowledge and mentor team members
Build internal technical capability through knowledge sharing and training
Encourage collaboration and continuous improvement within the team
Important:
A key performance metric for this role will be how effectively the candidate engages, mentors, and elevates the internal development team.

Project & Delivery Management

Manage project timelines, sprint planning, and engineering deliverables
Work within Agile development frameworks (Scrum / Kanban)
Coordinate with developers, QA teams, designers, and stakeholders
Identify risks and proactively address project challenges
Ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable software solutions
Required Experience

10+ years of software development experience
5+ years of experience in a Technical Lead or Engineering Lead role
Experience managing Agile software development projects
Experience interacting with international clients (USA / Canada preferred)
Strong experience mentoring and guiding development teams
