Jr.QA Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Software Tester with strong manual testing skills and basic knowledge of automation. The ideal candidate will contribute to ensuring the quality and performance of our software solutions by executing structured test plans and identifying defects.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Perform manual testing on software applications to identify bugs and ensure product stability.
• Analyze system requirements and prepare detailed test cases and test data.
• Execute functional, regression, and integration test cases manually.
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs thoroughly.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
• Conduct re-testing and regression testing of resolved issues.
• Maintain and update test documentation throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning and review meetings.
• Apply basic automation scripts (if needed) to support repetitive test scenarios.

Required Skills:
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC.
• Hands-on experience in manual testing including test case creation and execution.
• Basic understanding of automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, or JMeter.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools like JIRA or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of SQL for database validation.
• Good analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Clear and effective communication with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge or previous experience in the travel domain will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to learn and grow in both manual and automation testing.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in software testing (manual focus).

Salary Range:
₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month (based on experience and skill set)

Commitment:
2 Years.
