Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator to support a high-demand Salesforce environment within the Business Re-engineering function of a fintech client. The role is primarily focused on managing a substantial backlog of Business-As-Usual (BAU) activities and Change Requests (CRs), ensuring platform stability, usability, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will work closely with the Salesforce Architect and supplement an existing Salesforce team comprising an Architect, Administrator, and Developer.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain the Salesforce platform to support ongoing BAU operations
Manage and resolve Salesforce backlog items, enhancements, and change requests
Configure and optimize Salesforce objects, fields, page layouts, validation rules, and workflows
Implement declarative automation using Flows and other Salesforce tools
Support user management, roles, profiles, and permissions
Ensure data integrity, quality, and governance standards
Collaborate with the Salesforce Architect on solution design and platform improvements
Provide troubleshooting, issue resolution, and end-user support
Support release management and platform updates
Maintain documentation for configurations and system changes
Required Skills & Experience
Proven hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator
Strong experience handling BAU-heavy Salesforce environments
Expertise in Salesforce configuration and declarative customization
Experience managing change requests and system enhancements
Strong understanding of Salesforce data model and platform capabilities
Experience with Flows, validation rules, and security/access controls
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work within architect-led governance structures
Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills
