Senior Support Engineer
We are looking for a Senior Support Engineer with strong SQL expertise, solid Python development skills, and proven customer-facing experience to join our team. In this role, you will troubleshoot complex customer issues, analyze data and system behavior, and collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to ensure customer satisfaction and system reliability. You’ll serve as the technical backbone of our support organization—digging deep into databases, APIs, and code to identify root causes, implement fixes, improve processes, and represent the technical voice of the customer in cross-functional discussions.
Key Responsibilities
● Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues reported by customers and internal teams.
● Communicate directly with customers in a clear, empathetic, and professional manner, ensuring accurate understanding of technical challenges and expectations.
Analyze and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database performance.
● Develop and maintain Python scripts and tools to automate diagnostics, data analysis, and internal workflows.
● Collaborate with product and engineering teams to escalate and resolve bugs or performance issues, advocating for customer needs and sharing insights from customer interactions.
● Write clear technical documentation and knowledge base articles for internal and external use.
● Build strong, trust-based relationships with customers, including leading technical calls, troubleshooting sessions, and post-incident reviews.
● Mentor junior engineers and help standardize troubleshooting and data analysis processes.
● Participate in on-call rotations and critical incident response when needed.
Qualifications Required:
● 5+ years of experience in a technical support, DevOps, or backend engineering role.
Expert-level SQL knowledge (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar).
