Job Description – Business Analyst (SaaS Product)

About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst with over 2 years of experience in the SaaS IT product domain. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, gather and analyze requirements, and contribute to the development and enhancement of our digital products.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define and document product requirements and user stories.
* Analyze business processes, systems, and user needs to identify areas for improvement.
* Work closely with UI/UX teams to translate requirements into wireframes or prototypes.
*Conduct gap analysis, feasibility studies, and impact assessments for proposed solutions.
* Manage the product backlog and ensure clarity and priority of deliverables.
*Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams to ensure alignment.
* Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives as part of Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
*Develop functional specifications, BRDs, and user acceptance criteria.
* Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure stakeholder buy-in.
* Monitor product performance post-release and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
*3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in the SaaS or IT product domain.
*Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
*Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, or similar.
*Ability to gather and translate business needs into technical requirements.
*Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
*Experience working with cross-functional global teams.
Preferred Qualifications
*Familiarity with API documentation, data models, and SaaS metrics.
*Prior experience in B2B SaaS or customer-centric product environments.
*Knowledge of SQL or basic data querying tools for analysis.
