Shopify Team Lead (Exp:5+years)

Responsibilities

*Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to implement visually appealing and user-friendly e-commerce websites on the Shopify platform.
*Customize and modify existing Shopify themes to align with brand guidelines and enhance user experience.
*Develop custom Shopify themes, templates, and components based on project requirements.
*Optimize website performance, ensuring fast loading times and responsive design across different devices.
*Integrate third-party applications and plugins to extend Shopify's functionality.
*Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality, payment gateways, and other e-commerce components.
*Stay updated with the latest Shopify trends, best practices, and industry standards to suggest improvements and innovations.
*Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and consistency.
*Improving processes continuously and introducing best practices.
*Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
*Creating the website architecture.
*Conducting website performance tests
*Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
*Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on other developers' work.
*Optimize website performance and functionality
*Collaborate with designers and content creators to create engaging user experiences
*Implement best practices for SEO and accessibility

Requirements

*Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
*4+ years of hands-on experience with Shopify development, including custom theme development, custom app development using remix, polaris & prisma, app integration, and performance optimization.
*Proficient in Shopify CLI.
*Proficient with version control systems (e.g., Git) and development workflows.
*Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently on projects.
*Proficiency in Agile methodologies and DevOps principles.
*Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and liquid templating language.
*Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, and server architecture (Apache or Nginix).
*Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js is a plus.
*Strong understanding of responsive web design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
*Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
*Effective communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical team members.
