Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Assistant Manager to support and manage day-to-day Human Resources functions while working closely with management. The role focuses on recruitment, HR operations, employee engagement, compliance, and performance management, with the objective of strengthening HR practices and supporting organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities
HR Strategy & Employee Relations
• Support the development and implementation of HR strategies aligned with business objectives
• Act as a liaison between management and employees to address HR-related concerns and grievances
• Promote a positive, productive, and values-driven work culture
Recruitment & Onboarding
• Manage end-to-end recruitment and selection processes
• Oversee onboarding, induction, and employee lifecycle activities
• Ensure smooth coordination with hiring managers and candidates
HR Operations
• Handle attendance, leave management, and payroll coordination
• Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records, documentation, and HRMS
• Prepare HR reports and MIS for management review
Performance & Development
• Support performance appraisal and performance management processes
• Identify training needs and assist in organizing learning and development initiatives
• Support employee engagement and retention activities
Compliance & Governance
• Ensure effective implementation of HR policies, procedures, and SOPs
• Ensure statutory compliance and adherence to labor laws and company regulations
• Support internal audits and HR reviews
Team Support
• Guide and support junior HR team members
• Ensure timely completion of HR tasks and deliverables
Required Qualifications & Skills
• Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in HR roles
• Strong understanding of HR operations and employee relations
• Good knowledge of payroll coordination and statutory compliances
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to manage multiple HR functions independently
• Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems/tools
• Strong interpersonal, coordination, and problem-solving skills
