SAP B1 Consultant
job Summary:We are seeking an experienced SAP B1 Technical Consultant specializing in report development to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying reports within the SAP Business One environment to meet business requirements. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP B1, SQL queries, Crystal Reports, and SAP B1’s data structure.
Key Responsibilities:
Report Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom reports and dashboards using SAP B1 tools such as Crystal Reports, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and SAP B1 dashboards.
Data Analysis: Analyze data requirements and develop appropriate SQL queries and stored procedures to retrieve data from SAP B1 databases.
Customization: Customize SAP B1 reports and layouts based on user requirements and business processes.
Technical Support: Provide technical support and troubleshooting for report-related issues to ensure efficient and accurate reporting solutions.
Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including data mappings, report specifications, and user guides.
Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing of reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy and reliability before deployment.
User Training: Train end-users on report usage and functionality, providing guidance on how to generate and interpret data effectively.
Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Performance Optimization: Optimize report performance by tuning SQL queries and report designs for efficiency.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving existing reporting solutions and recommend enhancements.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an SAP B1 Technical Consultant with a focus on report development.
Proven experience in developing reports using Crystal Reports, SQL, and SAP B1’s reporting tools.

• Exacore ERP Training and evaluation of the candidates. Support day-to-day SCM activities under the guidance of senior team members. Gain Oracle Product knowledge in Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion products.
• Assist in implementation process along with the senior consulting team.
• Collaborate with Oracle ERP cross-functional teams to streamline customer operations and optimize efficiency of the ERP application.
• Participate in Oracle ERP inventory management implementation activities, including planning, forecasting, and inventory control.
• Excel in ERP related supplier management tasks, such as supplier evaluation, negotiation, and performance monitoring.
• Support the technical development for the ERP implementation and maintenance of SCM-related documentation and reports.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in supply chain management.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (BE) or equivalent in any discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Supply Chain domain is required.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
• Certification or coursework in Supply Chain Management is a plus.
