Our journey with Classic Fashion has uniquely positioned us to design technology-enabled products and solutions for the ever-evolving needs of the apparel manufacturing sector, and we are poised for an exciting phase of growth.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a results-driven Technical Manager who effectively bridges the gap between high-level engineering strategy and day-to-day execution. In this role, you will lead a technical team not just by authority, but by technical competence and vision. You will be responsible for defining long-term technical goals, implementing robust development processes, and measuring team performance against concrete metrics.
You will be responsible for defining the technical vision, establishing robust development processes, and using data-driven metrics to optimize team performance. You must possess a strong background in Java, Angular, and SQL not to code, but to validate architectural decisions, challenge technical assumptions, and mentor your team leads.
Responsibilities:
1. Strategy, Process & Metrics (The "Manager" Role)
Engineering Strategy: Define and execute a long-term technical roadmap that aligns with business goals. Move the team from "reactive maintenance" to "proactive innovation."
Process Implementation: Own the SDLC. Move beyond basic Agile/Scrum participation to designing the process. Identify bottlenecks in the CI/CD pipeline, QA handoffs, or requirements gathering and fix them.
Data-Driven Management: Define, track, and report on engineering KPIs (e.g., Sprint Velocity, Cycle Time, Defect Removal Efficiency, Code Coverage). Use these metrics to predict delivery timelines and identify training needs.
Resource Management: Handle capacity planning, hiring, and performance appraisals. Ensure the right people are working on the right tasks.
2. Technical Governance & Oversight (The "Technical" Role)
Architecture & Standards: You will not review every line of code, but you will set the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for code quality. You will approve high-level architectural designs and technology choices.
Technical Risk Management: Anticipate technical debt and scalability issues. Create strategies to modernize legacy systems (specifically in Java/MSSQL environments) without disrupting business operations.
Unblocking the Team: Serve as the final escalation point for technical roadblocks. When the team is stuck, you provide the decision-making framework to move forward.
3. People & Culture
Mentorship: Mentor Team Leads and Senior Developers to become future managers or architects.
Visionary Leadership: Translate "what we are building" into "why we are building it," ensuring every developer understands the long-term impact of their work on the garment manufacturing industry.
Qualifications:

Experience:8 to 12 years of total software industry experience, with at least 2+ years dedicated to leadership or management roles.
Team Leadership: Proven experience managing teams of 10+ developers and QA engineers. You must have a track record of creating and sustaining high-performing engineering teams.
Management Focus: A background as a developer is essential for context, but your core expertise should be in unlocking team potential and ensuring consistent delivery, rather than writing code.
Technical Fluency: Deep conceptual understanding of Java, Angular, and Database (SQL) architectures. You should be able to look at a proposed solution and immediately identify scalability risks or security flaws.
Operational Excellence: Strong experience with project management tools (Jira), version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines.
Communication: Ability to discuss technical debt with engineers and ROI with business stakeholders in the same hour.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills to articulate technical vision to non-technical stakeholders.

Senior Product Manager

About CTeBS
CTeBS (Classic Technologies & Business Solutions) is a technology company building an integrated ecosystem of software products for the fashion manufacturing industry. As a subsidiary of Classic Fashion, one of the leading garment manufacturers, CTeBS builds software products that are first developed, implemented, and matured within Classic Fashion's own manufacturing operations, and subsequently offered to external customers across the industry. This unique model means our products are battle-tested in real production environments before they reach the market, giving us deep domain credibility and a genuine understanding of manufacturing floor challenges.

Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead and grow the Product Management function at CTeBS. This is a player-coach role — you will directly own one or more software products while also providing leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to the existing PM team of 3. The ideal candidate combines strong product management expertise with hands-on knowledge of manufacturing operations — ideally in apparel, garments, textiles, or closely adjacent industries (footwear, home textiles). You should be someone who understands shop floor realities, production planning, quality workflows, and the pain points of factory operations, and can translate that knowledge into compelling software products.

Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Strategy
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for one or more CTeBS software products — from discovery and ideation through development, launch, and iteration.
Define and maintain product roadmaps aligned with both Classic Fashion's internal needs and external market opportunities.
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery to identify product-market fit for external commercialisation.
Drive the transition of internally-matured products into market-ready offerings for external garment manufacturing customers.
Establish and track product KPIs, OKRs, and success metrics to measure product health and business impact.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 3 product professionals with varying experience levels.
Establish product management best practices, frameworks, and processes across the team.
Conduct regular 1:1s, product reviews, and sprint retrospectives to ensure quality and accountability.
Build a culture of data-driven decision making, customer empathy, and continuous learning within the PM function.
Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary interface between the product team and Classic Fashion's manufacturing operations leadership.
Navigate the dual-stakeholder dynamic — balancing Classic Fashion's internal requirements with what makes products viable and scalable for external customers.
Collaborate closely with engineering, design, QA, and delivery teams to ensure timely and quality product releases.
Present product strategy, progress, and outcomes to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Domain Application
Leverage garment manufacturing domain expertise to identify high-impact product opportunities in areas such as production planning, line balancing, quality inspection, cut-make-trim operations, fabric management, and compliance tracking.
Translate complex manufacturing workflows into intuitive software experiences.
Stay current with industry trends in fashion manufacturing technology, Industry 4.0, and smart factory solutions.
Required Qualifications
12+ years of overall professional experience with 6–7+ years specifically in product management roles.
Proven experience in manufacturing software — ERP, MES, PLM, factory operations platforms, or production management systems.
Domain knowledge in garment/apparel manufacturing, textiles, footwear, or closely adjacent industries.
Demonstrated experience managing or mentoring other product managers (not just managing products).
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working with cross-functional engineering teams.
Excellent analytical skills with experience using data to drive product decisions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to senior stakeholders with confidence.
Experience with B2B SaaS product commercialisation — taking an internal tool or early product to external paying customers.
Familiarity with smart factory / Industry 4.0 concepts: IoT on the shop floor, real-time production monitoring, digital twins.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. MBA or equivalent is a plus.

What We Offer
Opportunity to build and lead the Product Management function at a growing smart factory software company. Direct impact — your products will be used on real manufacturing floors serving global fashion brands. A unique product development model where every product is validated in real operations before market release. Collaborative work environment in Kochi with exposure to Classic Fashion's global manufacturing operations.

Software Architect

The Company
CTeBS, a subsidiary of Classic Fashion, is a leading software solution provider to the apparel manufacturing industry globally. Our suite of enterprise-level products, including our flagship Trendz CMP, leverages cutting-edge technology to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency, ensuring our clients achieve unparalleled growth and success. Our journey with Classic Fashion has uniquely positioned us to design technology-enabled products and solutions for the ever-evolving needs of the apparel manufacturing sector, and we are poised for an exciting phase of growth.
Job Summary
We are looking for a hands-on Software Architect who is passionate about building scalable, high-performance software. In this role, you will serve as the bridge between high-level architectural vision and low-level code implementation.
Unlike a pure manager, you will remain deeply involved in the code. You will own the technical design for major features, enforce coding standards, and solve the complex problems that stall development teams. You will work closely with the Associate Technical Manager (who handles delivery/metrics) while you ensure the technical integrity of the solution.
Responsibilities
Take full architectural responsibility for specific products or core modules (e.g., the Production Planning Engine or Payroll Calculation System).
Translate business requirements into technical design documents (TDDs), defining data models, API contracts, and class structures before coding begins.
Proactively identify "spaghetti code" or technical debt in our legacy Java/MSSQL systems and design safe refactoring plans to modernize them.
You are the final approver for critical code merges. You do not just check for bugs; you check for maintainability, security, and scalability.
Deep dive into database execution plans (Oracle/MSSQL) and application logic to optimize slow queries and reduce latency.
Enforce consistent design patterns (Singleton, Factory, Observer, etc.) across the development team to ensure the codebase remains uniform.
Act as the "Problem Solver in Chief" for the development team. When a developer is stuck on a complex logic issue, you provide the solution.
Mentor Senior Developers on how to write clean, efficient, and testable code. Conduct technical workshops on new frameworks or best practices.
Qualifications
8 to 12 years of software development experience, with at least 2+ years in a Software Architect Role.
Expert in Java/J2EE (Spring, Hibernate, Multithreading).
Strong proficiency in MSSQL or Oracle (Stored Procedures, Indexing, Partitioning).
Solid understanding of Angular component architecture (even if you don't write CSS daily, you understand the data flow).
Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Design (OOD), Microservices patterns, and RESTful API design.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins/GitLab), Docker, and code quality tools (SonarQube).
Proven ability to debug complex production issues (memory leaks, thread deadlocks) under pressure.
