Joomla Developer

We are looking for an experienced Joomla Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in developing, customizing, and maintaining Joomla-based websites and applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Joomla architecture, extension development, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities
• Develop, customize, and maintain Joomla websites, components, modules, and plugins
• Design and implement custom Joomla templates and extensions
• Upgrade, migrate, and manage Joomla CMS versions ensuring minimal downtime
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services
• Optimize website performance, security, and scalability
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues efficiently
• Ensure responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and SEO best practices
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and stakeholders
• Maintain version control using Git and follow coding standards
• Perform regular updates, backups, and security patches

Required Skills & Qualifications
• 6+ years of experience in Joomla development
• Strong expertise in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• Hands-on experience in Joomla MVC architecture & extension development
• Experience with custom component, module, and plugin development
• Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Knowledge of Git/version control systems
• Strong understanding of web security, performance optimization, and SEO
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
