ServiceNow Senior Developer

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Senior Developer to lead the migration from BMC Helix CMDB to ServiceNow CMDB. The role requires strong expertise in CMDB architecture, data migration, integrations, and ITSM processes.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end data migration from BMC Helix CMDB to ServiceNow CMDB
Perform data mapping, normalization, reconciliation, and validation
Design and maintain CI class models, relationships, and dependencies as per ServiceNow best practices
Ensure accurate population and integrity of configuration items (CIs) and related attributes
Execute data quality checks, de-duplication, and remediation strategies
Configure and manage MID Servers for hybrid and on-prem integrations
Develop and manage Import Sets and Transform Maps
Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Scripted REST APIs, and webhooks
Work with integration tools like MuleSoft, Jitterbit, or similar platforms
Implement secure authentication methods (OAuth 2.0, Basic Auth, token-based)
Integrate ServiceNow with Active Directory, monitoring tools, and other enterprise systems
Ensure performance, reliability, and security of integrations
Must have

5–7 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, with strong focus on CMDB
Act as a technical SME for ServiceNow architecture and best practices
Strong understanding of ServiceNow data model (CMDB, Incident, Change, Request, Asset)
Experience with Flow Designer, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and Scripted REST APIs
Hands-on expertise in MID Server setup and integration management
Experience in large-scale data migrations with high data quality standards
Strong understanding of BMC Helix CMDB and its mapping to ServiceNow
Ability to modernize workflows from legacy ITSM platforms
Good knowledge of ITSM and ITIL processes
Experience with Service Catalog, Request, and Knowledge Management
Strong integration experience using REST/SOAP APIs
Ability to align business requirements with technical solutions
Knowledge of security and authentication best practices
Nice to Have

ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS–ITSM, CIS–CMDB, or Architect level)
Experience in large-scale platform migrations or transformations
Exposure to Discovery, Service Mapping, or CSDM
