Application Support Engineer (IT Operations)
Penguin Data Centre is a SaaS-based product company specializing in booking engine software solutions. We work closely with clients to ensure stable system performance and a seamless user experience.
Job Summary:
We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to handle client issues, support application functionality, and perform basic IT operational tasks. This role involves L1/L2 support, troubleshooting, and coordination with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Handle client-reported issues related to application and system environment
• Provide L1/L2 support and ensure timely resolution within SLA
• Troubleshoot application issues and perform basic root cause analysis
• Execute basic SQL queries for data validation and issue investigation
• Perform IT operational tasks (user creation, access management, password resets)
• Support release activities and deployment coordination
• Work with internal teams and external vendors for issue resolution
• Maintain proper documentation and ticket updates
Requirements:
• 2 to 3 years of experience in Application Support / Production Support / IT Support
• Basic knowledge of SQL (important)
• Understanding of Windows environment and cloud platforms.
• Experience in ticketing tools and client handling
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Good written communication (email support)
• Willingness to work in UK shift
Good to Have:
• Experience in SaaS product support
• Exposure to release/deployment processes
• Client-facing support experience

• Salary: ₹21,000 – ₹30,000
