Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations, ensure statutory compliance, and support business decisions through accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation (GST & TDS), and banking processes.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and process salary statements and coordinate salary disbursement
Maintain accurate accounting records and post all financial transactions
Perform bank reconciliation on a monthly basis
Prepare and monitor cash flow statements
Handle GST, TDS payments and return filing
Prepare Goods Received Notes (GRN), invoices, debit/credit notes
Maintain purchase, sales, and expense entries in books of accounts
Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
Prepare P&L, Balance Sheet, and supporting schedules
Manage fixed assets and depreciation entries
Coordinate with Auditors for audits and documentation
Liaise with banks for transactions, documentation, and credit facilities
Handle compliance with GST, Income Tax, MCA, and other statutory authorities
Maintain proper filing and custody of financial records and documents
Prepare reports such as sales reports, stock ageing, and cash flow reports
Manage insurance renewals (stock & vehicle)
Ensure financial discipline, cost control, and confidentiality
Key Skills & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) / Finance / Accounting
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in accounting
Strong knowledge of:
GST & TDS
Bank reconciliation
Financial reporting
Experience in Tally / accounting software
Good knowledge of MS Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Good communication and coordination skills
