Site Reliability Engineer / DevOps Engineer

Position Overview:
This is a primary role with full ownership of the SRE/DevOps function. The position focuses on managing
production AWS environments, implementing infrastructure as code, scaling and performance engineering,
and ensuring system reliability and security. The role requires hands-on experience with containerized
applications, CI/CD pipelines, and proactive infrastructure optimization.

Key Responsibilities:
* Full ownership of SRE/DevOps function
* Manage production AWS environments including ECS, ECR, CloudFront, and RDS
* Deploy and scale services using ECS
* Manage container lifecycle with ECR
* Configure and tune CloudFront CDN for performance
* Perform operational management of RDS
* Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
* Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform
* Deploy Terraform via CI/CD pipelines
* Expand and refactor existing IaC footprint
* Configure and tune auto-scaling for ECS
* Handle burst traffic patterns and high-concurrency events
* Conduct capacity planning
* Optimize performance under load
* Monitor infrastructure and implement proactive reliability improvements
* Recommend architectural improvements
* Perform resource mapping and infrastructure optimization
* Improve system resilience and fault tolerance
* Participate in structured incident response
* Implement data classification and governance controls
* Manage secure integrations with external systems
* Ensure secure data handling practices in AWS

Required Skills:
* Strong AWS experience in production environments
* ECS service deployment and scaling
* ECR container lifecycle management
* CloudFront CDN configuration and performance tuning
* RDS operational management
* GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines in production
* Containerized application environments
* Terraform hands-on implementation
* Managing Terraform deployments via CI/CD
* Experience expanding or refactoring existing IaC footprint
* Auto-scaling configuration and tuning for ECS
* Experience with burst traffic patterns
* Capacity planning

* Infrastructure monitoring and proactive reliability improvements
* Ability to recommend architectural improvements
