SOFTWARE AUTOMATION TESTER - API

We are looking for a talented and passionate API Tester to join our Product Engineering team. This role focuses on building highly responsive, visually engaging, and performance-driven web applications that power our global financial platforms.

Your Mission

• Actively contributes to functional testing and automation of RESTful Web Services and Microservices.
• Design, develop, and execute API test cases to validate business logic and ensure seamless service communication.
• Perform performance testing to assess API efficiency, stability, and scalability.
• Conduct security testing to ensure APIs are resilient against potential vulnerabilities.
• Analyze and document test outcomes, working closely with development teams to resolve issues and enhance overall product quality.
• Implement and maintain automated API testing within Agile (Scrum) environments while adhering to defined QA standards.

Your Profile

• Proven experience in quality assurance for web-based applications and services.
• Hands-on expertise in API testing using Postman and Newman CLI.
• Strong familiarity with automation frameworks such as Rest Assured, TestNG, Cucumber, or equivalent.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools including Gatling, K6, or equivalent solutions.
• Knowledge of AI Tools in API testing is an added advantage.
• Proficiency in defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira.
• Understanding of API security and best practices is an added advantage.
• Interest in stock exchanges and financial markets would be considered beneficial.
