Business Development Trainee

We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Business Development Trainee at our Kochi location. This role is ideal for candidates with 0–1 year of experience who are eager to gain practical exposure to business development, presales, and client engagement activities.

Internship Duration & Location

Duration: 6 Months
Location: Kochi

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Identify and research new business opportunities through market analysis, online research, and networking.
Assist in engaging with prospective clients to understand their needs and support the presentation of suitable solutions.
Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, pitch decks, and other presales materials.
Help maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to support lead-generation and outreach strategies.
Maintain and update lead and client data in CRM systems.
Track sales activities and assist in reporting on sales metrics and performance against targets.

Qualifications and Requirements

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
0–1 year of experience (including internships, academic projects, or part-time roles) in business development, sales, or a client-facing role.
Strong interest in business development, presales, and sales strategy.
Ability to clearly communicate service offerings and business value.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM tools is an added advantage.
Self-motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable working in a team environment.
