Senior VB.NET Developer

Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced VB.NET Developer with 5–8 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Microsoft technologies and a solid understanding of software development best practices.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using VB.NET
• Work on both new development and enhancement of existing systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues
• Write clean, scalable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards
• Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and third-party services

Required Skills & Qualifications
• 5–8 years of experience in VB.NET development
• Strong knowledge of .NET Framework / .NET Core
• Experience with ASP.NET, Web Forms, or Windows Forms
• Proficiency in SQL Server and database design
• Familiarity with REST APIs and web services integration
• Good understanding of OOP concepts and design patterns
• Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN, etc.)
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills
• Experience with C# or migration from VB.NET to modern frameworks
• Knowledge of Azure / cloud platforms
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experience in ERP, CRM, or enterprise application development
