Job Summary

Commerce9 is looking for a Technical Project Manager with 5–7 years of experience and a strong technical background in managing software development projects. The ideal candidate should have proven experience leading teams and delivering projects across eCommerce platforms, web applications, mobile applications, and ERP solutions. This role requires ownership of project delivery, coordination across multiple teams/vendors, and the ability to engage confidently in technical discussions while ensuring timelines, quality, and customer expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and deliver multiple concurrent projects across internal teams and external vendors
Understand project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and technical approach
Plan and track project schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource allocation
Monitor project risks, issues, and mitigation plans; handle escalations effectively
Lead project meetings, sprint planning, review calls, and stakeholder discussions
Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementation
Coordinate closely with developers, QA teams, UI/UX, and client stakeholders
Maintain control over project quality, timelines, and deliverables
Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and documentation

Required Skills & Experience

5–7 years of total experience, with proven experience in Technical Project Management / Team Lead / Delivery Lead roles
Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
Ability to engage confidently in technical discussions with engineering teams and vendors
Strong technical understanding of eCommerce and web development technologies
Experience managing projects on platforms/technologies such as Magento, Shopify, Laravel, PHP, mobile applications (Android/iOS), and ERP systems such as Odoo, ERPNext, SAP, or similar
Proven experience handling cross-functional teams and multi-vendor coordination
Strong project planning, execution, tracking, and reporting skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for customer-facing reporting
Experience with project management tools such as Zoho Projects, Jira, Asana, Trello, MS Project, or similar

Core Responsibilities

1. Preventive Maintenance
Perform scheduled health checks and preventive maintenance for servers, workstations, and network devices to avoid downtime and failures.

2. Multi-Client Remote Support (SLA-Based)
Provide remote technical support for multiple client organizations.
Ensure all requests are handled within defined SLA timelines and quality standards.

3. Microsoft Infrastructure Management
Configure, administer, and monitor Microsoft environments including:
Windows Server
Active Directory (AD)

4. Asset & License Lifecycle Management
Maintain accurate documentation of client IT assets including desktops, laptops, printers, and network devices.

Apply security patches and perform regular system updates.
Manage firewalls and basic security controls.
