Network Engineer

Role: Network Engineer
Experience: 3+ years.
Location: Infopark, Kochi
Work Timing: US Business Hours

Responsibilities:
• Install, configure, and manage multi-vendor firewalls including Cisco Meraki, Barracuda Networks, Fortinet, and Ubiquiti.
• Design and manage cloud network infrastructure in Microsoft Azure and AWS, including site-to-site and hybrid connectivity.
• Handle escalated L2/L3 tickets from project and support engineers, providing timely resolution.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex network performance and security issues.
• Review existing network configurations and recommend security best practices and improvements.
• Monitor and manage network devices proactively using RMM and monitoring tools.
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of client network environments.
• Maintain documentation, network diagrams, and change management records.

Skills Required:
• Strong hands-on experience with firewall configuration
• Solid understanding of routing & switching concepts (BGP, OSPF, VLANs, STP, NAT, VPN).
• Good understanding of Cloud Network concepts
• Experience in configuring and troubleshooting VPN (IPsec, SSL, Site to Site)
• Good understanding of network security principles
• Ability to analyze logs, packet captures, and performance metrics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge in Ticketing Systems

Professional Skills:
