Sales & Application Specialist
Roles and Responsibilities
Field Sales & Business Development: Proactively identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within a defined territory. This includes cold calling, site visits to hospitals and clinics, and building a robust sales pipeline.
Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and decision-makers in the healthcare sector. Act as a trusted advisor and the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and support.
Market Analysis: Gather critical market and competitive intelligence from the field to inform sales strategies, pricing, and product development.
Post-Sales Support: Provide first-level technical support and troubleshooting for product application issues, coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely and effective resolution.
Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate records of all field activities, sales calls, customer interactions, and sales forecasts using CRM software.
Skills Required
Field Sales Acumen: Proven experience in a field-based sales role, preferably within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry. A track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets is essential.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. The ability to build rapport and trust with a diverse range of healthcare professionals is critical.
Self-Management: Highly motivated and disciplined, with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
Mobility: A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (up to 75% of the time).
