DevOps Engineer

We are looking for DevOps Engineer to join our team in based out of our Kochi location with hybrid work options. Responsibilities
1. Responsibility and operation of the DevSecOps infrastructure
2. Proxmox and Proxmox backup infrastructure.
3. GitHub Cloud and On-Premises (Enterprise License).
4. GitHub Runner On-Premises (Windows, Mac dedicated hardware, Linux).
5. Artifactory, including selection and migration to alternative solutions that also support the performance of security checks, e.g., based on SBOMs.
6. Development and implementation of CI/CD solutions.
7. Supporting the development and project teams with CI/CD processes and specific tooling.
8. Setting up and managing databases.
9. Setup and administration of virtual machines in project networks.
10. Linking project networks to customer networks, including communication and coordination with customer IT.
11. Migration and optimization of tools and solutions, including security checks.

Requirements
1. Minimum 4+ years of experience
2. Vocational training as an IT specialist for system integration or application development, or comparable qualification.
3. Experience in network administration (IP, subnetworks, firewall configuration, etc.).
4. Good knowledge of common operating systems (Windows, Linux/Unix) both as a user and as an administrator.
5. Knowledge and experience in programming, scripting, and automation (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar technologies).
6. Experience with CI/CD tools and environments (GitHub).
7. Knowledge of cloud platforms and container technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
8. Experience with tools such as Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, or similar technologies.
9. Knowledge of the administration and maintenance of SQL and NoSQL databases.
10. Ability to develop solutions independently and autonomously.
11. Strong communication and coordination skills, especially when dealing with customer IT (e.g., BMW, Volkswagen).
