Senior Accountant

Qualifications:
CA ,CMA completed candidates are preferred
Certification or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Experience working in a multi-company or multi-location environment.
Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices preferred.
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role with 5+ years of experience.
Proficiency in accounting software (Xero or QuickBooks is mandatory).
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including assets, liabilities, and Profit & Loss accounts.
Advanced MS Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Data Analysis).

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Bookkeeping:
Record and process financial transactions accurately.
Maintain the general ledger and ensure timely and accurate data entry.
Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and receivable regularly.
Process and manage invoices, bills and expenses in a timely manner.
Prepare accurate payment runs for approval.
Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
Financial Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of financial reports such as Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss Statements, and Cash Flow Statements.
Provide insights on financial performance, focusing on key metrics like revenue, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing processes.
Accounting Software Proficiency:
Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using Xero or QuickBooks.
Generate reports, invoices, and financial statements using the accounting software.
Ensure proper categorization of transactions and proper documentation for audit purposes.
Excel Skills:
Utilize advanced Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) to analyze data and create financial reports.
Maintain and update financial spreadsheets for tracking income, expenses, and other key metrics.
Asset and Liability Management
Track company assets and liabilities, ensuring accurate reporting of their values.
Assist in the preparation and management of depreciation schedules.
Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, leases, and loans.
Compliance and Audit Support:
Ensure financial data complies with legal requirements and company policies.
Support external audits by preparing and organizing financial records.
Ensure proper filing and organization of receipts, invoices, and other financial documents.
