Accountant/Book Keeper

Location: Infopark, Kochi
Employment Type: Full Time
Work Timings: 12 PM to 8 PM

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, independent and experienced Accountant/Bookkeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive accounting and bookkeeping services, ensuring financial accuracy, and maintaining robust records. This role requires strong proficiency in double-entry bookkeeping and Excel, with a willingness to learn and work with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Comprehensive Accounting Services:-
-Maintain and reconcile the general ledger.
-Prepare financial statements up to the trial balance stage.

2.Bookkeeping:-
- Provide efficient bookkeeping solutions, handling both cash and accrual accounts.
- Classify and enter transactions via bank feeds and manual processes.
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements, generating monthly reports.

3. Accounts Management:-
- Oversee accounts receivable and payable processes.
- Ensure timely invoicing, payments, and collections.

4. Reporting: - Generate periodic financial reports to support business decisions.

5. Software Proficiency:-
- Utilize Excel for data analysis and financial tracking.
- Work with or learn QuickBooks and Xero for efficient financial management.

Qualifications and Skills :

Experience: Minimum of 4 years in accounting or bookkeeping roles.

Technical Skills:

- Strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis).
- Familiarity with QuickBooks and Xero (training available if needed, but should be proficient in Tally).

Key Competencies:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated HR person to join our team on a contract basis. The Jr.HR Manager who will independently oversee and perform complete HR functions, talent acquisition, employee relations, compliance, payroll and general HR administration. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about HR, highly organized, and eager to contribute to a growing team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Recruitment & Onboarding: Needs to post job postings, source, screen, hire, and onboard candidates.
Collaborate with department heads to meet hiring needs.
• Employee Relations & Exit Procedure: Address HR queries, support conflict resolution, ensure employee
satisfaction, and ensure proper Exit procedures.
• HR Policies & Compliance: Keep HR policies up to date, ensure legal compliance, and maintain
employee records.
• Attendance & Leave Management: Maintain attendance records, Leave approvals, ensure compliance of
the same.
• Performance Management: Coordinate appraisal systems, monitor performance, timely performance
review of employees, organizing training programs.
• Payroll, Statutory Compliance & Benefits: Payroll Management, manage employee benefits, and resolve
payroll-related issues, HR compliance and statutory obligations.
• Asset Management: Assigning laptops, Keeping track of assets, and maintain records.
• HR Administration: Maintain databases, prepare HR reports, and provide administrative support as
needed.
• General Office Administration: Manage office supplies, filing, and event coordination, Vendor
Management.
• HR System Management: Update the HRMS and HR process digitalization
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Mandatory Experience: 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a similar role in Software Company.
• Familiarity with labor laws and HR best practices.
• Clear understanding of recruitment processes, performance management, and employee relations.
Skills:
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in any HR software (e.g., HRIS, ATS, HRMS) and MS Office Suite.
