Position Overview: Cavli Wireless is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Inventory Manager to join our team in Cochin. As an Inventory Manager at Cavli Wireless, you will be responsible for managing and tracking inventory at various Cavli storage locations, including Domestic Tariff Area (DTA) and Special Economic Zone (SEZ).
You will play a key role in ensuring the availability and accuracy of inventory, overseeing physical verification, and managing material movement across locations. Your responsibilities will also include working closely with our EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) partners to monitor process losses, ensuring compliance with statutory audits, and updating our ERP systems to reflect accurate inventory data.
Key responsibilities :
Inventory tracking at various Cavli storage locations / category (DTA, SEZ)
Physical inventory verification on quarterly basis at all Cavli store and EMS partner locations
Regular monitoring of process losses at EMS partner
Responsible to accountability for statutory audits like ISO, Cavli Internal Auditor
Verify the incoming goods (MPN) and Cavli ref. with respect to TDS / MCL
GRN entry of incoming RMs, Consumables and SFGs
Intercompany transfer orders -- for material movement
Stock transfer of Raw Materials (RM) / Semi Finished Goods (SFG) / Finished Goods (FG)
Maintain and report inventory values, ageing, valuation etc...
Identify the shortages before the various builds (Proto / Sample / Mass Production)
Assigning the RMs / SFGs / FGs / consumables in Cavli India store (DTA and SEZ)
Update ERP for movement / transfer / consumption
Create 1st level BoM with stock details at various store locations
Maintain the record and movement of FG, SFG ,WO consumption in ERP
Maintain safety stock of consumables and alert during the depletion
Item card creation in ERP
Pre-requisites :
Experience : 4 -5 years in manufacturing industry. Electrical and electronics domain preferred
Level : Middle Management
Qualification : BE / B.Tech in EEE preferred

We are seeking an experienced Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager with a deep understanding of the semiconductor industry, specifically memory chips (DRAM, NAND etc.) used in electronic devices such as mobile phones and IoT devices. The ideal candidate will have more than 8 years of experience in sourcing, procurement strategy, supplier relationship management and proven track record of optimizing cost and ensuring supply continuity in a highly competitive and dynamic market.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing
Lead the sourcing strategy for memory chips (e.g., DRAM, NAND) and other key high value semiconductor components.
Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s long-term goals, focusing on cost reduction, quality improvement and supplier diversity.
Identify and engage with global suppliers to secure memory components for Cavli’ product portfolio
Supplier Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with semiconductor manufacturers, suppliers, ensuring performance, compliance and continuous improvement.
Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and negotiate long-term agreements to secure favorable terms.
Develop and manage risk mitigation strategies for potential supply chain disruptions, ensuring a reliable and cost-effective memory supply.
Market & Industry Analysis:
Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies and pricing in the semiconductor and memory chip markets.
Conduct benchmarking, competitor analysis, and cost modeling to identify opportunities for optimization.
Monitor and predict market fluctuations that could impact pricing and supply availability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the R&D and Engineering teams to ensure that the selected memory chips meet technical requirements and product timelines.
Collaborate with finance and legal teams to manage contract negotiations, terms and compliance.
Cost Management & Negotiation:
Lead negotiations with suppliers to achieve cost saving goals while ensuring quality and reliability.
Drive initiatives to optimize procurement costs, including volume leveraging, long-term supply contracts and alternate sourcing strategies.
Innovation & Sustainability:
Develop and implement innovative sourcing techniques that drive sustainability and technological advancement.
Explore opportunities to source eco-friendly and energy-efficient memory solutions that align with corporate responsibility goals.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Minimum of 8+ years of exclusive experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, with a focus on memory chips or other semiconductor components used in mobile devices or IoT modules. Experience with electronic component sourcing functions of automobile OEMs preferred.
Technical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of semiconductor technology, particularly in memory solutions such as DRAM, NAND etc.
Familiarity with global memory supply chain dynamics and procurement best practices.
Skills:
Exceptional negotiation and contract management skills.
Ability to analyze complex data and trends and convert insights into actionable strategies.
Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
