The Role or What You’ll Do

As a Technical Consultant within our Professional Services team, you will be recognized as a technical expert in deployment activities of the Applied Payments solutions. The role is client-facing requiring excellent customer skills with proven verbal and written communications. You will be at the forefront of some our key clients providing first class delivery services in accordance with customer expectations and contractual agreements ensuring new and existing AP customers receive a first-class delivery service in accordance with customer expectations and contractual agreements.

Primarily responsible for the identification/development of solutions for customers using company products, outsourced solutions and/or proprietary tools/techniques implemented by others.

Defines customer needs and develops a plan and proposal for delivery of the project. Viewed by customers as a consultant.

Performance is typically evaluated based on utilization, (i.e., billable hours).

What You Need To Succeed
Implementation, configuration, and technical support payment / switch processing solution or similar.
Experience in deployment of new product releases and/or solution upgrades, includes install verification processes (IVP) and / or smoke testing processes.
Demonstrate solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with payment processing solutions.
Ability to define and clarify technical tasks to implement a project.
Proven experience in reviewing solution definition and product requirement documents.
Build relationships at various levels internally and within our customers organization.
Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience in delivery and software development tasks.
Groovy or similar scripting language experience.
Proven payment scheme certification skills
Technical writing skills with ability to write design documentation.
Knowledge of agile methodologies and frameworks.

Freshers with an engineering (B.Tech, B.E, M.Tec, M. E) or science degree. MCSE, RHCP, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, certification would be advantageous

An understanding of standard EFT protocols such as ISO 8583, ISO20022, Open API, Cryptographic operations etc. would be advantageous.
