Business Analyst (03 to 06 Years)

The Business Analyst will play a crucial role in driving the success of our Airline NDC (New Distribution
Capability) company by analyzing business needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and
translating requirements into actionable solutions. The role requires a deep understanding of the
airline industry, NDC standards, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve
business goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments, including sales, marketing, IT, and
operations, to gather and document business requirements related to NDC implementations.

• Analyze existing business processes, systems, and data flows to identify gaps and
opportunities for enhancement.

• Leverage a strong understanding of NDC standards and protocols to guide the
implementation of NDC-based solutions for airlines.

• Work closely with the technical teams to ensure accurate translation of business
requirements into technical specifications.

• Support the testing and validation of NDC solutions to ensure they meet business
requirements and industry standards.

• Identify inefficiencies in existing business processes and propose solutions to streamline
operations and improve overall efficiency.

• Conduct impact assessments of proposed process changes and provide recommendations
for optimization.

• Utilize data analysis techniques to extract insights from airline sales, booking, and customer
data to drive informed business decisions.

• Collaborate with data engineers to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and availability for
analysis.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build strong relationships and ensure
alignment on business goals and initiatives.

• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate project status, findings,
and recommendations.

• Lead or participate in projects related to NDC implementations, process improvements, and
system upgrades.

• Develop project plans, track milestones, and manage timelines to ensure projects are
delivered on time and within scope.

• Create and maintain detailed documentation of business requirements, functional
specifications, process flows, and user guides

Requirements

• Airline domain experience is mandatory.
• API integration experience, IATA NDC API knowledge is preferred.
