Senior Engineer - DevOps

Requirement
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with 5 to 8 years of experience who will be responsible integrating the project functions and resources across the product life cycle, right from planning, building, testing, and deployment to support.

Responsibilities
• Implementing various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure.
• Setting up tools and required infrastructure.
• Defining and setting development, test, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operation.
• Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs.
• Encouraging and building automated processes wherever possible.
• Identifying and deploying cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management.
• Incident management and root cause analysis.
• Coordination and communication within the team and with customers.
• Selecting and deploying appropriate CI/CD tools.
• Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline).
• Mentoring and guiding team members.
• Monitoring and measuring customer experience and KPIs.
• Managing stakeholders and external interfaces.

Desired Skills and Competencies
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience.
• Experience (5+ years) administering 24x7, hosted production systems.
• Ability to dive deep to analyse complex issues and solve problems.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with common scripting or programming languages such as BASH, Python or Perl.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Systems administration supporting development teams in a Linux/Unix environment
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Experience with the following - Jenkins, AWS, Docker, Ansible, Artifactory, PKI, x509.
• Working knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services.
• Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles.
