Test Automation Analyst

Specific Skills:
Technical & Professional requirements:
• Design, create and maintain Automated Test Frameworks for front, back end, legacy, digital and packaged systems/applications.
• Build and drive in developing In House tools/ accelerators for business
• Primary Skill test automation skills with hands on work experience in multiple automation tools CI CD and DevOps tools
• Enhance existing automation test frameworks
• Integrate tests in CI/CD pipeline, establish a continuous build and test cycle.
• Establish processes and tool sets to maintain automation scripts and generate regular test reports
• Develop high-quality automation test engineering principles, test strategies, and best practices.
• API automation Postman Rest Assured XML JSON XPATH MQ Rest JMS
• Knowledge of other automation tools for Service Virtualization and API testing tools like Postman
• Experience in Agile Scrum methodologies In sprint automation Test framework design and automation experience in web applications client server applications mobile applications
• Experience in Jira Bamboo BDD Cucumber bitbucket, Jenkins SVN Artifactory etc
• Experience in writing scripts/ coding in Java language for test automation
• Prior experience as delivering QA in an Agile environment
• At least 3 years of experience with open source automation tools( Selenium) and frameworks
• Mobile (iOS and Android) test automation and exposure to Appium
• Cloud-based platforms
• Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of modern database systems
• Excellent communication (Written & Verbal), presentation skills with a positive attitude to engage with stakeholders
• Experience in Retail domain

Good to have skills:
• Experience in Performance Testing
• Experience in leading a Test Automation delivery

Roles & Responsibilities:
• Should be able to devise test automation strategy and plan for presenting with customer stakeholders
• Should be able to provide automation solutions by designing automation frameworks based on the technology and business scenarios
• Proficient in working with Selenium or other licensed tools
• Should be able to estimate effort estimate return on investment with timeline articulate risks and issues articulate benefits reusability etc.
• Should be able to manage a team of manual and test automation engineers
• Expertise in integrating and packaging utilities and applications
• Expertise in DevOps tool chain (build, development, CI-CD)
• Integration of open source frameworks/components
• Should drive early automation testing approach into SDLC
• Should be able to design, develop and execute the test automation scripts
• Should be able to closely work with client stakeholders to drive the sprint and release ceremonies
• Should be able to build a good rapport with the team and the client stakeholders
