Senior QA Analyst (Automation+Manual)

Job Description
We’re looking for an innovative, team-oriented QA Engineer with 5-8 years of experience of which at least 3 years of experience should involve e-commerce & test automation. Candidates with a background in the service delivery/IT consulting sector are preferred.

As a QA Analyst, your responsibilities include –

- Working closely with the Project Leads and Test Leads in requirement analysis, test planning, design, implementation & execution in alignment with the Project Plan.

- Understand and follow established processes and best practices.

- Write & maintain test cases for manual test execution throughout the SDLC while also identifying tests as candidates for automation.

- Pro-actively create & maintain highly effective regression test suites.

- Professional/detailed bug reporting

- Work with development team to verify bug fixes through the release cycles

- Proper & professional delivery & closure of test artifacts with test evidences.

- Plan Automation activities proactively and automate tests using the existing automation framework.

- Utilize and expand the in-house automation framework

- Prioritize activities such that test conditions having the highest impact on the system are tested/automated first.

- Co-ordinate with Management, Leads, Developers and cross-located teams.

- Raise concerns without delay to Leads/Management.

- Perform well under tight deadline pressures and fast paced environment.

- Produce professional reports

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Qualifications

Required:

Strong experience in test automation and java test framework/tools (TestNG, Junit, Selenium, Appium etc.)

Good knowledge of Java/J2EE technologies
