Lead Software Engineer (5 to 15 Years)

HashRoot is looking for a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer (MERN Stack) who are comfortable with back end programming (NodeJS) to lead our engineering team to build an efficient web based SaaS application.

Job Responsibilities:

The candidate is responsible for developing and designing web architecture, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, collaborate with the engineering team to design and launch new features and maintain code integrity and organization.

Responsibilities

Develop high-quality software design and architecture
Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
Review and debug code
Perform validation and verification testing
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
Document development phases and monitor systems
Ensure software is up-to-date with the latest technologies

Requirements

Proven experience in NodeJS and ExpressJS
Extensive experience in software development, scripting, and project management
Experience using system monitoring tools (e.g. New Relic) and automated testing frameworks
Knowledge of selected programming languages and the Java/J2EE platform
Experience working with ExpressJs, MongoDB, TypeScript, ReactJs, Redux, REST APIs.
Expertise in Asynchronous programming using Javascript and ECMAScript 6
In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)
Excellent organizational and leadership skills
